Assistant Nurse Manager

We are an established and stable health services organization and have an opportunity available at one of our New York City ambulatory care health centers for an Assistant Nurse Manager. The selected individual will work in partnership with the Medical Director and Administrator to ensure the provision of quality care and services at our Brooklyn Health Center.

Under the supervision of the Nursing Director, the Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for the daily clinical operations in the Health Center. Provides clinical education, guidance and support to the nursing staff. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, coordinates the delivery of safe quality patient care services. Utilizes the nursing process to promote patient centered care. Incorporates evidence-based practices that aligns with the Standards of Practice and the organization’s Mission and Vision.

Required Qualifications

• RN required; Bachelors’ of Science in Nursing preferred.

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in Ambulatory Care, Diagnostic, and Treatment Center or Physician’s office.

• Current BCLS and Infection Control certification.

• Ability to work independently.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
